Web 3.0

Web 3.0 was described as API-interfaced web-sites, using XML-RPC, SOAP or anothe high-level XML-oriented API with an HTTP transport layer. And it's true!

But what we all didn't have thought about is the presentation and client-side.
We all thought the presentation will be handled by anoter web site, and we were all wrong.

The fact is, Web 3.0 is AJAX-oriented, not HTML web sites with some javascript embedded on the page to check entries or display  proposal for inputs.
Web 3.0 is Ajax from start, because the presentation layer will be on the client browser, communicating with XML or JSON representatiopn of data with HTTP business logic servers. It will be a 3-tier architecture from scratch!

Future websites maybe entirely conceived as Javascript applications that will exchange with leightweight PHP/Java/ASP servers. Javascript will be the de-facto representation & interaction language, and HTTP server languages will be more of a commodity than the real core of a web application, exactly as we move from DB-oriented servers to Business Logic focus!

Prepare yourself to master Javascript, it is no more a commodity, it will be at the heart of future web developments!
